Here is the letter you can send to the Secretary of DELTA  for a refund of the FM-T fee it wrongfully took from you. You can cut/paste it into your word processor.

Please pass this letter along to anyone else you know that might want to help stop this unfair & deceptive practice of Delta and/or get a refund.

Dear Mr. McClain:

I am sending you this letter as I understand you are familiar with the situation.

I am and was a legal resident of Mexico on (insert date) when I took a Delta flight that deplaned in Mexico.

I am advised that even though I was exempt from having to pay for an FM-T Tourist Visa, the cost of it was put into my ticket. I now request an immediate refund of the cost of the FM-T.

My flight was on (date) and number (put flight # here). or:

Attached is a copy of my ticket/documentation of the flight.

I am also attaching a copy of the document indicating my legal residence in Mexico at the time of the flight.

I do not want a Delta flight voucher for the refund, and as I paid in cash, I want cash back.

I will look for my refund within 14-days of the date of this letter.
